I used to say that what counselling is for the soul, yoga is for the body.
That’s not entirely true because yoga is not just about the body – in fact, it would be more accurate to say it’s about bringing together body and mind – and we can work with the body in counselling too. But yoga and counselling are definitely sister disciplines.
